EVART — Loretta M. Sebring, 90, of Evart, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac.

Mrs. Sebring was born on Aug. 22, 1923, in Davison, to Harley and Florence (Rodabaugh) Fisher. She married Edsel G. Sebring on Oct., 8, 1965, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Evart and he preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 1999, after 34 years of marriage. Loretta was a lifelong Evart area resident and retired from Wolverine in Big Rapids after working there for more than 30 years. She was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and enjoyed quilting and jigsaw puzzles.

Loretta is survived by her two sons, Mike Carey, of Evart, and Harley (Ann) Carey, of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edsel; and four sisters.

Funeral services for Loretta M. Sebring are at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Corey Funeral Home in Evart, with Pastor Ted Turanski officiating. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at the funeral home. Internment will take place this spring in Forest Hill Cemetery in Evart.
