Julie Ann Wright


Julie Ann Wright of Paris, MI passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids at the age of 43. She was born in Reed City on July 29, 1969, the daughter of Gary and Barbara Halladay.

Julie graduated from Reed City High School in 1987. She attended Baker College in Cadillac. Julie married Michael Wright on February 14, 2004. She worked at home as a freelance writer and transcriptionist. Julie was one of the coaches for the younger Spirit Squad in Big Rapids, the treasurer for Boy Scout Troop #74 and had a lot of involvement with the Young Champions in Big Rapids. Julie focused on the needs of others before her own, and participated in many charity groups like Santa’s Helpers.

She is still helping others even after death with the Gift of Life organ donation program. She will be missed.

Julie was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Halladay; her sister, Jean Jackson; her daughter, Ashley Clark; her mother, Barbara Halladay and her nephew, Jesse Ringler.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Wright of Paris; her daughters, Jessica Clark of Big Rapids, Crystal Clark of Rogers Heights and Jasmine Wright of Paris; her son, Caleb Clark of Paris; her step-son, Austin Wright of Paris; her father, Gary Halladay (Chris Todd) of Reed City; her sisters, Janet (Brian) Ringler of Chase, Jennifer (Ted) Brahman of Reed City, Jill (Kent) Trullinger of Reed City and her brother, Mark (Lindsey) Halladay of Reed City.

A memorial potluck luncheon will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Green Township Hall in Paris. Memorial contributions can be made to the family. Arrangements are by the Mohnke Funeral Home. Share a memory or express condolences at www.mohnkefuneralhome.com
