EVART — On Friday, July 17, 2015, our beloved wife, mom, grandma, sister, mother-in-law, and friend, Judy Raymond, won the battle against cancer. At the young age of 64, Judy went peacefully at home with the love of her life, Bill, and her sister, Martha, by her side.
She is survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Raymond, of Sears; her sister, Martha (Felix) Escareno, of Bridgeport; two sons, Brian (Amy) Raymond, of Blanchard and Christopher (Tiffany) Raymond, of Evart; three daughters, Barbara (Michael) Webb, of White Lake, Marybeth (Kevin) Leahy, of Mesa, Ariz., and Debbie Raymond-Krueger of Phoenix, Ariz.; and seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Keaton, Kylee, Emily, Hannah, Allyson and Kaitlyn.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Mary Katherine Nentwig.
Judy loved her family and friends more than life itself. She was quick with a smile and was always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need. She enjoyed gardening, baking and a good rummage sale. She was known for her beautiful flower gardens, her famous onion rings and eggrolls. Many knew her as “mom” or “Grandma Judy.” During the summer months, most of the kids at the lake would gather at her house to play in the biggest sand pile anyone has ever seen. She touched many lives throughout her 64 years and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at Crossroads Community Church, 110 South Main St., in Evart.
In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask that you take a moment to hug your kids, grandchildren, friend(s), loved ones or walk in the woods for a moment, an hour or a day. Watch the sunrise or the sunset. Time waits for no one; cherish every day and dance as if no one is watching.
