CADILLAC \u2013 Johnnie Lee Davis, of Cadillac, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Cadillac Mercy Hospital. He was 71. Mr. Davis was born Feb. 4, 1941 in Evart to John and Gertrude (Fisher) Davis. He was born and raised in the Evart area and worked in Lansing, Kansas, finally settling in Cadillac where he worked for Michigan Northern Railway and most currently at Four Winns. Johnnie was a member of the Harvest Worship Center in Cadillac. His wife Patty Davis of Cadillac, three daughters, Tammie (Rick) Perkins of Cadillac, Michelle (Jim) Jones of Cadillac, Tracie Davis of Cadillac, one son John (Denise) Davis of\u00a0 Aurora, CO, grandkids Carrie (Charles) Burton of\u00a0 Aurora, CO, Brian (Lesa) Davis of Boon, Jamie (Craig) Bigger of Cadillac, Josh (Chelsea) Jones of Cadillac, Kaleb (Tawslyn) Challender, Colton Challender, Gavin Challender of Cadillac, Terrell Davis of Luther, Jonni and Jackson Davis of Aurora, CO, great grandkids Makenzie and Charlie Burton of Aurora CO, Brodey and Bailey Bigger of Cadillac, and Olivia Jones of Cadillac, two sisters Linda Tarnowski of Tennessee, Marilyn Roberts of Evart, two brothers Ross Davis of Evart, Robert Phelps of Cadillac survive him. His parents, granddaughter Shaytaya Lynn Davis, sister Shirley Russ, three brothers Ed Huyck, Jim Davis and Dave Davis preceded him in death. Funeral services for Johnnie Lee Davis are 1 p.m. Wednesday November 28 at the Harvest Worship Center in Cadillac with Pastor Mike Green officiating. Visitation will be from noon Wednesday until time of services at the church. Cremation will follow services and Mr. Davis\u2019 final resting place will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Evart. Corey Funeral Home in Evart is serving the Davis family.
