Jasmine Marie Rogers

MARION — Jasmine Marie Rogers, 13, of Temple, died suddenly on Oct. 18, 2013, in an automobile accident.

Jasmine was born on May 4, 2000, in Big Rapids. She was a very bright and happy person, who loved to go to school activities and hang with her friends. Jasmine loved her dog, Brutus, and was a very loving and amazing sister. Some of her hobbies were painting her nails, shopping, drawing and texting on her cell phone.

She belonged to the Harrison Temple Church of the Nazarene and liked going there with her cousin, Santana. She had so much to give in life. The Lord has called her home.

Jasmine is survived by her father, Jesse VanBuskirk; her mother, Dawn Parrish; sisters, Santana Rogers, Payton Parrish, Dezaray Parrish and Shawntay VanBuskirk; brothers, Kenneth L.VanBuskirk, Quincy Parrish, Jr. and Levi Spears; grandparents, Rick and Becky VanBuskirk, Brenda Rogers and Robert Hecker; great-grandparents, Shirley Snyder and Mary and Rex Eberhart; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be from noon until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at the Fosnaught-Holdship Funeral Home, followed by a graveside committal service at Fernwood Cemetery in Temple.
