Haunted attractions to visit this fall

MECOSTA COUNTY — As October begins, so do many haunted attractions across Michigan.

Those interested can grab their friends and family and get their adrenaline pumping as they check out the list of haunted places available this year.

It is encouraged to call the facilities for correct times and prices before visiting.

Four Green Fields Farm Haunted Maze

Those interested in being scared by ghosts, ghouls and monsters should visit the Four Green Fields Farm Haunted Maze. Walking through the maze at night will present many challenges and be sure to create a memorable experience.

Ghost Farm of Kingsley

The Ghost Farm of Kingsley will provide multiple chances to be scared as guests will have the opportunity to gather around a campfire, listen to scary stories and take a walk along a haunted trail at night. As well as a haunted trail, there are two more attractions, including a cursed barn and haunted house.

Haunted Fish Hatchery

Those interested in staying local this Halloween can check out the Haunted Fish Hatchery in Paris. During this time, guests have the option of visiting a kid-friendly floor or a haunted floor, depending on how badly they want to be spooked.

Manistee Ghost Ship

The Manistee Ghost Ship starts scaring guests before they even board, according to their website. With varying scary themes every year, this attraction is not for the weak of heart.

Moonlight Manor

Guests will have to rely on their wits, nerve and cunning to survive their passage through Moonlight Manor. With terror around every corner, the only option is to keep moving forward and try to survive this Oct. 31.

Screams in the Dark

Screams in the Dark offers a variety of haunted attractions such as haunted hayrides, trails and swamps. As well as the classics, the attraction, Pandemonium, is always changing with new twists and turns for pure chaos, according to their website. This may be too intense for younger guests.

Terror on 27

With an option to visit four haunted attractions, Terror on 27 offers many opportunities to be afraid. From haunted rides to trails to mazes to houses, guests are sure to feel frightened before they leave.

The Haunted Hall

The Haunted Hall offers four haunts for the price of one. This attraction is not recommended for children under 12 or for the faint of heart.

The Haunt

Every ticket to The Haunt provides guests with access to bone-chilling stories. From the Dark Manor to the Vox Sanitarium, there's something for everyone looking to have a good scare.
