FRANKFORT -- The Frankfort Rotary Club and Stormcloud Brewing Co. came together for the Pints for Polio event to raise money to help Rotary International eliminate polio worldwide.

During Frankfort Beer Week from Oct. 4-9, $1 from every pint of beer sold went to the Frankfort Rotary Club.

The Frankfort Rotary Club partnered with the Sunrise Rotary Club for the event, and other businesses involved included Five Shores Brewing, St. Ambrose Cellars and the Cabbage Shed.

The amount donated by participating businesses will be matched by the Frankfort Rotary and Benzie Sunrise Rotary clubs. That total will be further matched 2:1 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

In 2020, almost $8,000 was raised.
