Esther Bertha Miller
REED CITY — Esther Bertha Miller, 78, of Reed City, passed away on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, in Grand Rapids.
She was born on Nov. 3, 1934, in Milwaukee, to Edgar Kutzbach and Lydia Kruschel. She was a graduate of Reed City High School. On Nov. 24, 1954, she was married in Reed City to Larry Miller, who passed away in 2008. She was a member of the Reed City Hospital Guild and a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she had played the organ. Esther was a lover of animals and enjoyed arts and crafts and reading. She was a wonderful mother, who loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Annette) Miller, of Chase; daughters, Patti Miller, of Salene, Vicki (Kurt) Browne, of Grass Lake, Sally Earnest, of Reed City, and Shelly (Chuck) Davis, of Reed City; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Lydia Kutzbach; husband, Larry Miller; and brother, Eddie Kutzbach.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at the Pruitt-Livingston Funeral Home in Reed City, with the Rev. Jeffrey Potter officiating. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery in Reed City.
