Donna L. Mott

EVART — Donna L. Mott, 90, of Evart, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016, surrounded by her family at home.

Donna was born in Osceola County’s Sylvan Township to Clare Percy and Marion Frances (York) Dake. She married Louis Mott on Feb. 14, 1944, in Flint, and he preceded her in death in 1968. Donna worked for Evart Products, retiring on Feb. 19, 1990. She was a member of the Evart Moose Lodge No. 2452. Music was very important to Mrs. Mott. She taught her kids to appreciate it and taught them several instruments.

Mrs. Mott is survived by three daughters, Sandra Armitage, of Hersey, Stacie (Larry) Golombisky, of Fowlerville, and Shelley Fischer of Boise, Idaho; nine grandchildren, Dori (John) Dolci, Lori Ann Johnson, Donald (Christine) Johnson Jr., Sonya (Blane) Smallwood, Heather Hubbard, Autumn Gerke, Dustin Hart-Fischer, Steven Golombisky and Jacob Golombisky; several great- and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carol J. (Ralph) Roberts, of Evart, and Sharon S. Marckini, of Grand Rapids; and sister-in-law Donna Dake, of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; her parents, Clare and Marion Dake; three brothers, Robert E., Lyle A. and Richard C. Dake; son-in-law, George V. Armitage; brother-in-law, Donald Marckini; niece, Michelle Marckini; and nephew, Gary L. Roberts.

Graveside services for Donna Lee Mott are 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2016, at Forest Hill Cemetery in Evart, with a memorial luncheon following at the Evart Moose Lodge.
