Constance Lee (Bieri) VanOrder

EVART — Constance Lee (Bieri) VanOrder, 76, passed away on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, at her home in Evart.

Connie was born on Sept. 18, 1938, in Osceola Township, the youngest of seven children born to John and Gladys (Head) Bieri. She retired from the Evart Public School system with 29 years of service as a teacher’s aide. She attended the Sears Church of God, where she taught Sunday School and served on several committees.

Connie was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Ron VanOrder; son, Jeff VanOrder; and five brothers.

In 1956, she married Ron VanOrder, of Sears. They raised three sons, David (Marti) VanOrder, of Evart, Joel (Dawn) VanOrder, of Evart; one brother, Stanley (Harriet) Bieri, of Evart; four grandchildren, Jarek, Devon, Nolan and Mara, all of Evart; five step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several in-­laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Internment will take place in the spring of 2015, at Forest Hill Cemetery in Evart. She will be buried next to her husband.

The Celebration of Life service for Constance Lee VanOrder is at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at the Sears Church of God, located at 5955 40th Ave. in Sears. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at the church.

By the wishes of the VanOrder family, memorial contributions may be directed to the Sears Church of God.
