Amy Lynn Fleming
Amy Lynn (Williams) Fleming, 45, of Hersey passed away Friday, January 2, 2015 at her home.
She was born September 2, 1969 in Grand Rapids to Gary and Kathleen (Rancour) Williams, was raised in Reed City and attended Pine River Schools in addition to Trinity Lutheran Church and School. She was a 1987 graduate of Reed City High School and attended Davenport University, where she studied business. Amy then moved to Florida.
In November of 1990, she married Michael Fleming.
Amy loved spending her time with her family, especially her two daughters, Shelby and Madison Fleming. She enjoyed many pastimes, including fishing and boating.
She was a lifelong lover of animals and had many cats and dogs in her lifetime.
She is survived by her two daughters, Shelby Lynn Fleming (Christopher Hermann) of Fort Myers, Florida and Madison Taylor Fleming of Seminole, Florida; parents, Gary and Kathleen Williams of Hersey; grandmothers Mildred Williams, Kathleen Bachorek, and Emma “Dolly” Rancour; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister Angelin Marie Pontz, infant sister Kelly K. Williams, and grandfathers Ran Williams and Oscar Rancour.
Visitation will be held at Noon, followed by a 1 pm funeral service, on Tuesday, January 6 at the Reed City United Methodist Church with Pastor Kathy Cadarette officiating.
The interment of ashes will be at Hersey Village Cemetery at a later date.
The family requests memorials be given to the United Methodist Church of Reed City.
