Aaron Clark

SEARS — Aaron James Clark, 22, of Sears, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 4, 2014.

He was born on Feb. 6, 1992, in Cadillac, to Alan and Darla (Hamel) Clark. Aaron graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in 2010. He went on to obtain a certificate in Diesel Mechanics from Lincoln Technology Institute in Indianapolis, Ind.

The last four months he enjoyed working as a machine operator for Morgan Compost in Sears.

Aaron attended the Sears Church of God, was actively involved in 4-H when he was younger and was known to be everybody’s buddy. Aaron enjoyed fishing, John Deere tractors, hunting (especially with his Uncle Tom Rodgers) and was a real people person. He was an avid University of Michigan fan, and liked the Detroit Tigers, Green Bay Packers and was proud of getting his first coyote pelt this year.

His beloved family and many friends will forever cherish the many stories and memories they have of a particular, kind-hearted and in his own words ‘ready to fix it’ man.

He is survived by his parents, Alan and Darla Clark, of Sears; one brother, Christopher Davis, of Cadillac; one sister, Baylee Clark, of Sears; grandmother’s, Lethel Hamel, of Lake City, and Joanie Clark, of Evart; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde (Coralie) Clark; grandpa, Robert Hamel; paternal great-grandma, Gertrude Bartholomew, in 2014; and two aunts that he was close with, Kathy Garcia and Carol Leonard.

The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton.

Funeral services for Aaron will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2014, at the Sears Church of God, located on the corner of U.S. 10 and 40th Avenue. The family will be greeting friends two hours prior from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at East Fork Cemetery in Barryton.
