OSCEOLA COUNTY\u00a0\u2014\u00a0Spectrum Health Hospice is expanding its\u00a0service area to care for patients in Newaygo and Mecosta counties, including Spectrum\u00a0Health Big Rapids, Spectrum Health Reed City and Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial hospitals. \u201cSpectrum Health Hospice is able to care for the patient wherever they call home,\u00a0whether that is an assisted living facility, hospital or their own home,\u201d said Lisa\u00a0VanderWel, administrator of Spectrum Health Hospice. \u201cBy being able to provide our\u00a0hospice services through our regional hospitals in Big Rapids, Fremont and Reed City,\u00a0we can ensure the Spectrum Health exceptional experience continues for our patients.\u201d Spectrum Health Hospice now serves nine counties, including Newaygo, Mecosta,\u00a0Muskegon, Ottawa, Kent, Montcalm, Barry, Ionia and Allegan.
