Proceeds benefit the expansion of telehealth services at Big Rapids and Reed City hospitals BIG RAPIDS\u00a0\u2014\u00a0The Spectrum Health Foundation of Big Rapids\u00a0and Reed City hospitals invites local residents to get in the holiday spirit during the annual Festival\u00a0of Trees on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Chemical Bank in downtown Big Rapids. The\u00a0reception begins at 6:30 p.m. and the auction starts at 7:30 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy hors d\u2019oeuvres and refreshments while\u00a0bidding on a variety of beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and other holiday items\u00a0designed by community members. An exciting addition to this year\u2019s event will be the announcement of a People\u2019s Choice\u00a0Award. Visitors to Chemical Bank may vote for their favorite item on display each day\u00a0from Oct. 29 until the reception on Nov. 4. All of the proceeds will benefit the expansion of telehealth services at Big Rapids and\u00a0Reed City hospitals. Telehealth uses technology to share health information through\u00a0electronic or digital means, allowing patients to receive virtual consultations with\u00a0specialists while at their local hospital.
