REED CITY \u2014 Three Reed City men could spend up to life in prison if convicted of an armed robbery police say they committed in February in Osceola County. Michael Paul Williams, 17, John Jay Williams, 20, and Damian Lee Jones, 21, were arraigned on Friday in Osceola County\u2019s 77th District Court. All three men have the same charges: armed robbery, punishable by up to life in prison; first-degree home invasion, punishable by up to 20 years in prison; and felony firearm possession, punishable by up to a two-year sentence which must be served consecutive to and preceding any other sentence. The fourth suspect is a minor. His name and charges were not released on Friday because his case is being handled in juvenile court. Michigan State Police troopers from the Mount Pleasant post were called at 7:48 p.m. on Feb. 23 to the scene of the assault at a house in Osceola County\u2019s Highland Township. The adult male victim told police that three masked men forcefully entered his home armed with a long gun, assaulted him and fled with his property. The victim was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cadillac where he was admitted for treatment of his injuries as a result of the incident. Michael Williams and Damian Jones are both held in Osceola County Jail on $1 million bond. John Williams is held on $2 million bond. All three men are scheduled to appear for a preliminary examination at 1:30 p.m. on March 20 in district court.
