A grand opening event will take place on July 5. \u2022 Reed City Disc Golf course contractor Steve Hedstrom is looking for volunteers to help clear the course area from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on June 26. A sneak-peak tournament is tentatively scheduled for July 10, with installation of equipment on August 14 and 21, and a grand opening tournament on Aug. 28. There will be dumpsters available at the wastewater treatment plant, at 611 W. Tenth Street. Proof of residency will be required. This can be a water bill, tax bill, or driver's license. The following materials will NOT be accepted: yard waste, construction materials, demolition debris, concrete, liquids, paints, pesticides, chemicals, and tires.
