HIGHLAND TWP. \u2014 A tip about a possible methamphetamine lab led to the discovery of components to make the drug at an Osceola County residence. On Monday, detectives with the Traverse Narcotics Team (TNT) received information about a potential methamphetamine lab after the Osceola County Sheriff's Office was given a tip. TNT detectives were able secure a search warrant for the residence in Highland Township and found the components of a methamphetamine lab. According to a news release, the investigation is ongoing as suspects are being developed and charges are expected to be sought. The Michigan State Police Cadillac Post along with the Osceola County Sheriff\u2019s Office assisted during the investigation. Earlier this month, TNT arrested a man in Osceola County after a special operation discovered items to make methamphetamine. On May 9, as part of an Operation Nighthawk with the Michigan Department Of Corrections Parole\/Probation division, agents entered a home in Evart Township and located man who was on probation. A search of the home found components and chemicals used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
