OSCEOLA COUNTY \u2014 The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for Osceola County that will continue until 1 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5. \u201cThe current weather is dominated by cold arctic air,\u201d the advisory reads. \u201cIce build up on the Muskegon River, below the gage in Evart, is causing river levels to rise. Expect fluctuations in river levels of several feet.\u201d The report continues, warning residents to stay mindful of the river levels. With the forecast, the NWS said levels on the Muskegon River could reach 11.5 feet on Wednesday. The flood stage is at 12 feet, the report states.
