EVART \u2014 The Christmas spirit was alive and well at Evart High School last week, as the students enjoyed the fun and festivities of the school's annual Holiday Spirit Week. Each day features a different theme in which each student can participate, including Ugly Sweater Day, Red and Green Day and Holiday Hat Day. In addition, each class decorated a section of hallway in Christmas lights, trees, decorations, ornaments and wrapping paper for a friendly competition, which the senior class won. To give back during the holiday season, a chili cook-off raised $100 for the Sears Food Pantry. Eleven entries were voted on by students and staff for $1. The winning batch of chili was made by teacher Steve Stange.
