By Richard Karns Special to the Herald Review REED CITY - During the beginning of 2015, the local AARP Chapter No. 2418 decided to concentrate on three community organizations to support. This list includesd the Reed City Ministerial Association Food Pantry, the Osecola County Commission on Aging's Meals on Wheels program and providing blankets for the youth at Eagle Village. During the chapter's November meeting, the last of the three projects were completed. Judy Dennis has made it part of her ministry to make the blankets for the youth. She takes the money collected by members, buys the material and makes them. Although there are many talented members in the chapter, members are always looking for more. This is an invitation to anyone interested in join the chapter at the Dec. 9 meeting at the Reed City United Methodist Church on Chestnut Street. A potluck lunch will begin at noon and the meeting will begin at 1 p.m. Those interested should bring a dish to pass and their own table service.
