LEROY — Individuals who wish to learn safe and easy ways to freeze food items like fruits and vegetables have the opportunity to do so through Michigan State University Extension.

The class will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at the LeRoy United Methodist Church, 400 Gilbert St. in LeRoy. Handouts and resources will be available for attendees to take home.

The cost of the workshop is $10.00. Registrations for SNAP participants will be waived upon verification at check-in. This workshop will be taught by an experienced MSU Extension food safety educator.
