Two men injured in one-vehicle crash on 14 Mile Road

OSCEOLA COUNTY — Two men were injured in a one-vehicle crash Friday evening. At 8:54 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a one-vehicle crash on 14 Mile Road near 190th Avenue in LeRoy Township. The driver, a 35-year-old man from the Evart area, suffered minor injuries and was arrested for operating the vehicle while under the influence. The passenger, a 32-year-old man from the Evart area, was listed as critical condition and flown from the scene by Areomed. During the initial investigation, the roadway was shut down for several hours.

The investigation is still ongoing; however, alcohol and speed appear to be factors in the crash.

The Osceola County Sheriff's Office was assisted on scene by Osceola County EMS, LeRoy Township Fire Department, Tustin Fire Department and the Michigan State Police.
