Two men arrested on Thursday in connection to LeRoy bank robbery
OSCEOLA COUNTY — Two men were arraigned this afternoon on charges related to Wednesday’s Citizens Bank robbery in LeRoy. The men were arrested late Thursday evening.
Zachary Hartzog, 19, and Kelly Sikkema, 20, are held in the Osceola County Jail on charges of armed robbery, unlawful driving away of an automobile and felony firearms possession. Both men are from Marion.
Hartzog and Sikkema allegedly robbed the bank at about 2 p.m. on Wednesday, one carrying a long-barrel gun and the other wielding a knife. The suspects left the scene in a car they stole from the bank’s parking lot. The car later was recovered two miles from the bank on 15 Mile Road.
