Two injured in Osceola County crash

Michigan State Police are investigating a crash that injured two people just after midnight Wednesday on 60th Avenue north of 14 mile Road in Middle Branch Township in Osceola County.

Troopers said the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway, went airborne and then struck a tree. The point of impact with the tree was 15 feet off the ground, troopers reported.

Two of the three people in the car were thrown from the vehicle upon impact. A passenger was airlifted to Spectrum Health Grand Rapids with serious injuries. The driver was transported to Spectrum Health Reed City for treatment of his injuries.
