Tustin Daze are coming
TUSTIN — There’s sure to be a lot of fun in store for folks visiting Tustin during the annual celebration of Tustin Daze.
Tustin Daze offers good family fun in the time-honored tradition of small town America festivals.
Tustin Daze has been a local celebration for many, many years, and planners hope to offer something for area residents and visitors alike throughout the event.
The fun begins Saturday, Sept. 3, with a pancake breakfast from 7-10 a.m. and the activities and festivities last through the evening
Throughout the day there will be raffles, garage sales around the community, the Grand Parade - 11 a.m. from the elementary school - a car show, lots of kids’ games, a water battle at the fire department, horse show, and much, much more.
The car show begins at 11:30 p.m. at the library with all sort of kids games taking place from 12 noon through 2:30 p.m. at the ball fields.
The horse shoe tourney will also take place beginning at 1 p.m, at the park.
The day comes to an end at around 3:45 p.m. with a free ice cream social at Boomers Rendezvous, (the old Sportsmen’s Club.)
