Trinity Lutheran Church and School hosts Harvestfest dinner

REED CITY — The Trinity Lutheran Church and School Parent-Teacher League hosted its annual Harvestfest dinner on Saturday, Oct. 22, at the church.

Dressed in traditional garb, school students in fifth through eighth grades helped wait on tables for the dinner, which serves as an outreach event to the community and fundraiser for the church and school, said school principal Jason Harder.

More and 260 people had a meal of sausage and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, meatballs, pork, coleslaw, spaetzle (German dumplings) and pumpkin pie.
