Third annual Thanksgiving dinner at Marion Baptist Church
MARION – Everyone in Marion and neighboring communities is invited to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner at Marion Baptist Church.
On Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, the church is hosting its third annual Thanksgiving dinner featuring turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and all the trimmings for a traditional feast followed by tempting desserts, including pumpkin pie.
There is no charge and advance reservations are not required. The meal, which will be served from 12 noon to 3 p.m., is a gift to the community. Whether you’re single, a family or a group of friends, come for a holiday dinner and an afternoon of fellowship.
The church extends a special invitation to those do not have any plans for Thanksgiving Day or who might be spending the day alone.
Meals will be delivered to shut-ins and for those in need of transportation, a ride will be arranged.
