Spectrum Health Foundation hosts annual Festival of Trees

Proceeds benefit the expansion of telehealth services at Big Rapids and Reed City hospitals

BIG RAPIDS — The Spectrum Health Foundation of Big Rapids and Reed City hospitals invites local residents to get in the holiday spirit during the annual Festival of Trees on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Chemical Bank in downtown Big Rapids.

The reception begins at 6:30 p.m. and the auction starts at 7:30 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments while bidding on a variety of beautifully decorated trees, wreaths and other holiday items designed by community members.

An exciting addition to this year’s event will be the announcement of a People’s Choice Award. Visitors to Chemical Bank may vote for their favorite item on display each day from Oct. 29 until the reception on Nov. 4.

All of the proceeds will benefit the expansion of telehealth services at Big Rapids and Reed City hospitals. Telehealth uses technology to share health information through electronic or digital means, allowing patients to receive virtual consultations with specialists while at their local hospital.

Tickets are available at Chemical Bank, Gary Trimarco Automotive, Patterson’s Flowers or online at give.spectrumhealth.org/reed-city.
