Reed City homecoming fills the stands (and the streets) The weather didn’t cooperate, but a lot of people showed up armed with umbrellas, raincoats and in some instances, colorful garbage bags that created a coverup during the rainy Friday afternoon homecoming parade in Reed City. Terry Kooiker was grand marshall this year, and several former homecoming court members were on hand to honor and be honored. Dozens of units traveled the parade route from the high school through the downtown area, and back to the high school where students prepared for the big game and homecoming celebration.
