OSCEOLA COUNTY – The following school board positions at the regular school election to be held Tuesday, Nov. 6, will be as follows:

  • Evart Public Schools will fill two, 6-year terms, which will expire on Dec. 31, 2018.
  • Marion Public Schools will fill two, 6-year terms, which will expire on Dec. 31, 2018.
  • Pine River Area Schools will fill two, 6-year term, which will expire on Dec. 31, 2018, and one-partial term ending Dec. 31, 2014.
  • Reed City Area Public Schools will fill two, 4-year terms, which will expire on Dec. 31, 2016 and one partial term ending Dec. 31, 2014.

To run for these positions, a candidate must file an affidavit of identity and a nominating petition no later than 4 p.m. on Tuesday,

Aug. 14, with the Osceola County Clerk.

In lieu of obtaining between 6 to 20 signatures of qualified electors in your school district on your petitions, you may file a $100 non-refundable filing fee with the County Clerk.

Forms may be obtained from the Osceola County Clerk at 301 W. Upton Ave. in Reed City, or in their respective superintendent’s office.
