Registration open for golf outing to benefit Eagle Village

CADILLAC — The second annual charity golf outing to benefit Eagle Village will be held on Sept. 14 at the Cadillac Country Club.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. The suggested donation for the event is $100 per person and $400 per team, which includes 18 holes of golf with a golf cart and a meal following the outing. Tee sponsorships are available for $75.

Last year, money raised through the event funded the purchase of new stoves and refrigerators for each of the Eagle Village resident houses.

Proceeds from this year’s event will be used toward the purchase of a used mini-van from Don’s Auto Clinic to replace one from an aging fleet.

The event is sponsored and hosted by VanDrie Home Furnishings and Bill and Janine Rzepka.

Individuals interested in participating in the golf outing must register by Sept. 10. For a registration form to fill out, call Dan Alto at (231) 775-0336. Those who cannot attend the outing but are interested in donating to Eagle Village can do so by calling (231) 832-7253.
