REED CITY — Students throughout the Reed City Area Public Schools system have a busy calendar this week - and not just at the blackboard or in front of the class.

It’s Pride Week time - and loyal Coyotes around the community are gearing up to show their support for students, staff, and school.

“Pride Week is a way to get our students, district staff, and the entire community involved in our school-wide programs,” reported district superintendent Steven Westhoff in an earlier interview. “This is very similar to Homecoming week. It’s just a great way to demonstrate our pride in this school district and in the extended Reed City community as well.”

“We have a lot of fun things planned, and we hope everyone throughout the community will join us and get involved in whatever they can,” said Westhoff.

After a festive kickoff on Monday, and a number of salutes to honor students and district staff on Tuesday, the remainder of the week will include such events as:
