REED CITY — The Reed City Band Boosters will host the 31st annual High School and Middle School Band Carnival this weekend.

From 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday at Reed City High School, community members can enjoy inflatables, carnival games, a haunted house, cake walk, dunk tank, a full concession stand and more!

Middle school band students will volunteer to run the carnival games, while high school band students will work the haunted house. National Honor Society students will help facilitate inflatables and a number of parents also will help out wherever needed.

The annual carnival is the largest fundraising event held each year.

With the great need for new instruments and uniforms for the growing band, organizers are looking to make this event the biggest yet. Funds raised at last year’s carnival helped purchase new marching band helmets.
