REED CITY - For some lucky students in the Reed City Area Public Schools district, summer vacation is going to be fun ...and educational.

Reed City’s Community Education program organizers are already well into the planning of the upcoming Summer Adventure.

The Summer Adventure is open to all students finishing grades k-5 in 2011. There is some cost - $75 for the four week program (three days each week.)

The Adventure program runs in from June 21 through July 21, (again, three days each week from start to finish.)

Included in the program are Language art and math instruction for a portion of the day, lunch, and a ton of recreational activities including tubing at Albright Camp, bowling at The Gate, roller skating in Big Rapids, and horseback riding at Kettenun Center ...and much more!

The Summer Adventure is sure to be well attended so organizers are encouraging parents to get their students enrolled early - no later than May 27.
