HOWARD CITY — Cody Kailing tallied 18 points to lead the Coyotes (on Feb. 13), who led 36-17 at halftime.

Anthony Pelton and Karsten Koopman added 11 points each.

“Overall, these were the best two road games of the year, to be honest with you, on both sides of the ball,” Reed City coach JJ Eads said. “Defensively, I thought our pressure defense was pretty solid, for the most part this past week. We had over 20 assists on Friday, which is pretty good.

“A lot of it is being ready to go. We had a stretch of five home games in a row. We were ready to play.”
