
Reed City library has busy October schedule

REED CITY — It’s finally going to be the month of intense fall colors and Halloween events!
We’ve got a lot going on for this October, including Crafternoon: Fall Wreaths from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, the NEW Teen Book Club on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 5:30 p.m. that will be alternating every second month with Teen Advisory Board, Halloween in the Park at the Westerburg Park from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, Paper Crafting: Bookmarks on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 11-1pm, Tim Bazzett Author Talk/Book Signing on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m., and last but not least, Halloween Trick-Or-Treat on Monday, Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Dress up in your Halloween best for this fun Trick-or-Treat event! See if you can identify your librarians and other local celebrities in full costume. FREE EVENT.
Thursday, Oct. 20, 6 p.m. Evening Book Club
“Arc of Justice” by Kevin Boyle as a part of the Great Michigan Read Event.
Saturday, Oct. 22, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Paper Crafting: Bookmarks
Design, create and laminate bookmarks from samples or from your own imagination for FREE.
Monday, Oct. 24, 6 p.m. Reed City Public Library Board Meeting
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Thursday, Oct. 27, 5-7 p.m. Tim Bazzett Author Talk/ Book Signing
Come in for a meet and greet of local Reed City author, Tim Bazzett. He’s written books like “Reed City Boy”, “Book Lover”, and internationally popular “Soldier Boy”.
Monday, Oct. 31, 5-7 p.m. Halloween Trick-or-Treat
Visit the Library for fun and goodies as part of your Reed City Trick-or-Treating.
Programs are free, but donations are welcome.
