Reed City hosts expo Thursday

REED CITY — Community members are invited to network with others and see what area business have to offer at the ninth annual Reed City Area Chamber of Commerce Business Expo on Thursday.

From 5 to 8 p.m., individuals can browse tables set up by business, enter to win merchandise, collect coupons and brochures and more. The event will be held at Reed City High School cafetorium, located at 225 West Church St. in Reed City.

“It’s a great event. Businesses showcase who they are and what they do all under one roof,” said Suzie Williams, Executive Director of the Reed City Area Chamber of Commerce.

Along with local businesses offering merchandise, Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital will set up a flu clinic and health fair.

“It’s a very fun networking event,” Williams said. “There is business to business networking and it’s open to the public so they can meet and talk to business people as well.”

Dynamite the Clown will make an appearance at the event, offering a humorous display of his antics for children and parents alike.

“It has grown each year and everyone looks forward to the expo,” Williams said.
