Reed City expo a success for community

REED CITY — Hundreds of community members gathered in the cafeteria at Reed City High School on Thursday, Oct. 7, for the Reed City Community and Business Expo.

Dozens of local organizations and businesses were present at the expo and ready to supply attendees with information, free hand-outs and more as they visited each table. Door prizes, raffles and free samples from a couple of local eateries increased the event’s fun.

In addition, staff from Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital were on hand to educate residents on the Diabetes Education program, Rehab and Nursing Center and Primary Care and Cancer Services.

Free flu shots and blood pressure tests were available as well, thanks to a partnership with the Central Michigan District Health Department.
