Reed City Crossroads Car Club hosts car show

Proceeds to support Veterans Memorial Park

REED CITY — The Crossroads Car Club of Reed City is hosting a charity car show to raise money for the Veterans Memorial Park project from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., July 17, at the Reed City Scout Building parking lot, 223 E. Fifth Ave., Reed City.

All the proceeds from the event will go to support the new Reed City/Osceola County Veterans Memorial Park.

Registration will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Judging will start at noon, with the awards presentation at 3 p.m.

The entry fee for cars is $20. The first 60 entries get a dash plaque. A total of six trophies will be presented, including Mayor’s Choice, People’s Choice and Veteran’s Choice.

All makes and models are welcome.

“Last year was a great time for our first year and we want this year to be even better,” organizer Russ Nehmer said. “Bring out your ride or come check out some beautiful vehicles in downtown Reed City at the Scout House.”

The event will include food, a 50/50 drawing, raffles, a bake sale and music.
