REED CITY — The Reed City Brewing company will host its inaugural October Fest from 4 p.m. to midnight, Saturday, Oct. 3.

There will be live music from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and games and prizes throughout the night, along with German food and German beer.

"We will be introducing some German beer releases, and will have German food on the menu," owner Courtney Murphy said. "There will be seating indoors an outdoors."

The indoor seating will be limited to 50 customers, as per the executive orders limiting indoor gatherings, with seating socially distanced and mask will be required, Murphy said.

Outdoor seating will also be socially distanced, with tables spread apart, and masks will be require when moving about.

The parking area outside the Brewing Company, on Higbee Avenue will be closed to traffic to accommodate the outdoor seating.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

"This is our first ever October Fest, but we plan to continue to do it if it goes well," Murphy said.
