REED CITY — If you haven’t visited the Old Rugged Cross Museum in Reed City or stopped by in the past to do some genealogy research with members of the Osceola County Genealogical Society, there’s an ideal opportunity coming up to stop by, check out the displays, and enjoy a timeout for snacks.

The museum located at 4918 Park Street will host the Business After Five gathering on Thursday, April 14 from 5-7 p.m.

Not only are many of the furnishing once found in the home of the Rev. George and Hannah Bennard on display at the museum, but so are antique dolls, books, many items small and large, and a vast collection of genealogical materials including old tax records, cemetery records and other items.

The museum opens for its regular season on May 1.

For additional information, contact Erv Jones, president of the Historical Society, or Betsy Randall, president of the genealogical organization.
