Osceola County - Residents will have the chance to enjoy a free breakfast later this month and also see where some of their food comes from.

Breakfast on the Farm, a program run by the Michigan State University Extension offices around the state, will take place for the first time in Osceola County from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Gingrich Meadows Dairy farm in LeRoy.

The event offers a free breakfast and an opportunity for attendees to get an up-close look at crops, animals and milk production.

Free tickets for the event’s breakfast can be picked up at various locations across the area. Tickets can be picked up in Big Rapids at Tractor Supply Company and the Mecosta County MSU Extension office, in Evart at Wesco and Foster’s, in LeRoy at LeRoy Milling and the Village Market, in Luther at Luther Public Library, in Reed City at the Dairy Depot, Family Farm & Home and the Osceola County MSU Extension office and in Tustin at the Dairy Station and Hoaglund Hardware.
