REED CITY — It was an especially fun day at Reed City’s preschool class on Friday when youngsters came dressed ready for their Halloween party.

In addition to parading in costumes ranging from a cowgirl to princesses and even Scooby-Doo, they had lots of treats to enjoy as well. It was a focus on learning as the children carefully honed in on the skills of pouring their own chocolate milk, and they added a bit of an extended grin when cookie frosting turned lips and cheeks green.

In addition, it was obvious that skills involving waiting for others and practicing their manners were important not only on fun day, but each day. Parents assisting, and even a set of infant twins, were on hand to be a special part of the activity.
