Pine River students send Christmas cheer to community

The last day of school before Christmas Break has always been an activity day for Pine River middle and high school students as a way for our staff and pupils to unwind and have a bit of fun before leaving for the holidays. This year, Pine River staff and students decided to cut activity day short by creating "Shut-in Baskets" during the first hour of the day. Each first hour class created a basket to be sent to somebody in the community who was not lucky enough to have family come visit or the ability to go visit their family for the holidays. The baskets, filled with cookies, Christmas cards and hot cocoa, were organized by the Leadership Class. (Courtesy photo)
