Osceola Expo hosts 48 vendors
EVART – Forty-eight small businesses and craft vendors sold items at the 2014 Osceola Expo on Saturday in Evart.
The Osceola County Fairgrounds’ Community Building was lined with craft enthusiasts from all over Michigan.
“This is just something fun to do for the community,” said Jennifer Walters, head of the event and independent beauty consultant. “I’m trying to build up Evart and have more people come here.”
Walters said she organized the event by contacting vendors who participated in previous years. When vendor’s said they couldn’t make this year’s event, she filled their spots with new attendants.
In addition to art and craft vendors, business representatives sold products as well. Consultants from companies like Avon, Mary Kay and Origami Owl sold beauty and jewelry items.
Next year’s Osceola Expo will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015.
