Osceola County welcomes new sheriff's deputy

REED CITY — The Osceola County Sheriff's Department recently welcomed Deputy Ryan Douglas to their ranks.

Douglas comes to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office with five years of experience in law enforcement.

He was first employed with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office in 2016 as a part time court deputy. He then went to work for the Evart Police Department as a full-time patrol officer.

Douglas was born and raised in Osceola County and graduated from Evart High School in 2012. In 2016, he graduated from Mid-Michigan Community College with an associates degree in criminal justice and from Westshore Community College police academy.
