REED CITY — The following cases were heard this week in Osceola County’s 77th District Court. All cases might not be reported.

  • Michael Ryan Brigham, 35, of Evart, pleaded guilty to operating without insurance. He is ordered to pay fines and court costs. He must perform 80 hours of community service as part of his sentence.
  • Gary Dean MacCune, 25, of Branch, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license. He is sentenced to time served. The vehicle in the offense will be immobilized for 90 days.
  • John Andrew Londo, 31, of Evart, pleaded guilty to third-degree retail fraud. He is sentenced to time served. He also must perform 80 hours of community service as part of his sentence. He must pay restitution of $84. He will be on probation for one year. He must complete the economic crime program.
  • Shawn Ross Beebe, 33, of Chase, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license. He is sentenced to five days in jail with one day credit. He is given the option for perform 32 hours of community service in lieu of jail. The vehicle used in the offense shall be immobilized for 90 days.
  • William Joseph Johnson, 47, of Sears, pleaded guilty to operating while visibly impaired. He is sentenced to 30 days in jail with one day credit. He is given the option of 90 days electronic monitoring or 60 days plus completion of Impact weekend. He will be on probation for two years.
  • Michael Keith Porter, 57, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to operating while visibly impaired. He is sentenced to five days in jail with two days credit. He is given the option to perform 24 hours of community service in lieu of jail. He must complete the alcohol highway safety education course.
  • Jeffery Patrick Sell, 39, of Kentwood, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of marijuana and one count of driving while license not valid. He is sentenced to five days in jail with one day credit. He is given the option to perform 32 hours of community service in lieu of jail. He will be on probation for six months. He must complete the drug and alcohol treatment education program.
  • Thomas Jeffery Lewis, 42, of Marion, pleaded guilty to operating with a high blood alcohol content. He is sentenced to 30 days in jail with one day credit. He is given the option of 90 days electronic monitoring or 60 days plus completion of Impact weekend. He will be on probation for two years. He must complete the alcohol highway safety education course.
  • Jacob Henryk Bresinski, 25, of East China Township, pleaded guilty to one count of selling/furnishing alcohol to a minor and one count of furnishing tobacco to a minor. He is sentenced to time served. He also must complete 120 hours of community service as part of his sentence. He will be on probation for six months.
  • Ryan Douglas McBride, 28, of Evart, pleaded guilty to state construction code violations. He is sentenced to time served. His sentence is delayed one year. He will be on probation for one year. He must pay restitution of $7,800.
  • Bradley Allen Champagne, 36, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to disorderly — fighting in public. He is sentenced to time served. He must complete 80 hours of community service as part of his sentence.
