REED CITY — The following cases were heard this week in Osceola County’s 77th District Court. All cases might not be reported.

  • Dustin Neve Crissman, 27, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to operating without insurance. He is sentenced to five days in jail with two days credit.
  • Ryan Anders Ness, 23, of Traverse City, pleaded guilty to operating while visibly impaired. He is sentenced to seven days in jail with two days credit. He is given the option to perform 40 hours of community service in lieu of jail. He must complete the alcohol highway safety education course.
  • Paul James Schimmels, 27, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to attempted operating without security. He is ordered to perform 24 hours of community service as part of his sentence.
  • Cheyenne Renee Cox, 18, of South Haven, pleaded guilty to assault. She is sentenced to time served. She must complete anger management. She will be on probation for one year.
  • Korey David Kaza, 26, of Owosso, pleaded guilty to use of marijuana. He is sentenced to seven days in jail. He is given the option to perform 56 hours of community service in lieu of jail. He will be on probation for six months. He must complete the drug and alcohol treatment education program.
  • Timothy Alan O'neal, 25, of Hersey, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated. He is sentenced to 30 days in jail with two days credit. He is given the option of 90 days electronic monitoring or 60 days plus completion of Impact weekend. The vehicle used in the offense shall be immobilized or forfeited.
  • Jeffrey Duane Breininger, 54, of Marion, pleaded guilty to taking a deer without a license. He is sentenced to time served. He must complete 40 hours of community service as part of his sentence. He must pay restitution of $1,000. His hunting privileges are revoked for the remainder of 2017, plus the following three years.
  • Shawn Marie Scott, 42, of Evart, pleaded guilty to attempted drunk disorderly person. She is sentenced to 45 days in jail with 37 days credit.
  • Christopher Paul Krawciw, 47, of Luther, pleaded guilty to domestic violence. He is sentenced to seven days in jail with five days credit. He is given the option to perform 16 hours of community service in lieu of jail. He must complete the alternatives to violence program. He will be on probation for one year.
  • Shawn Michael Hill, 37, of Marion, pleaded guilty to attempted assault. He is sentenced to 27 days in jail with three days credit.
