REED CITY — The following cases were heard recently in Osceola County’s 77th District Court. All cases might not be reported.

• David Lee Ashley, 45, of Manistee, pleaded guilty to lying to a police officer. He is sentenced to time served.

• Paul Edward Choponis, 24, of Luther, pleaded guilty to malicious destruction of property valued between $200 and $1,000. He is sentenced to seven days in jail with three days credit. He is given the option to perform 32 hours of community service in lieu of jail. He must complete anger management counseling. He will be on probation for one year.

• Chester Allen Holmes, 55, of LeRoy, pleaded guilty to illegal taking of a deer. He must pay $1,000 restitution. His hunting privileges are revoked for the remainder of 2018 and the following three years.

• Christopher Carl Dietrich, 27, of Lake, pleaded guilty to illegal entry. He is sentenced to 90 days in jail with 24 days credit.

• Brittany Noel McDaniel, 26, of Cadillac, pleaded guilty to operating without insurance. She must complete 24 hours of community service.

• Arnold Duane Holmes, 49, of Cadillac, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated. He is sentenced to time served. He will be on a tether for 90 days. He will be on probation for 18 months.

• Mark Kevin Gostlin, 38, of Evart, pleaded guilty to failure to report an accident. He must pay restitution of $1,226.

• Michael John Mathews, 39, of Livonia, pleaded guilty to lying to a peace officer. He is ordered to pay fines and court costs.

• Curtis J. Doornbos, 22, of Hudsonville, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated. He is sentenced to 30 days in jail with one day credit. He is given the option of 90 days electronic monitoring or 60 days monitoring plus completion of Impact weekend in lieu of jail. He will be on probation for two years. The vehicle used in the offense shall be immobilized or forfeited.

• Donald Roy Winrick, 62, of Evart, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated. He is sentenced to 30 days in jail with one day credit. He is given the option of 90 days electronic monitoring or 60 days monitoring plus completion of Impact weekend in lieu of jail. He will be on probation for 18 months.

• Steven Bradley Merrill, 55, of Sears, pleaded guilty to operating without insurance. He is sentenced to time served.

• Nicholas Tomas Fernandez, 17, of Evart, pleaded no contest to attempted fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct. He is sentenced to one year in jail with 136 days credit.

• Timothy Kyle Webb Jr., 32, of Reed City, pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful use of a license plate and one count of larceny less than $200. He is sentenced to 30 days in jail with one day credit. He will be on probation for 18 months. He must pay restitution of $108. He must complete the economic crime program.

• Jeffery Lee Chick, 57, of Evart, pleaded guilty to use of marijuana. He is sentenced to time served.

• Randall Oliver Bell, 36, of Evart, pleaded guilty to used of marijuana. He is sentenced to 90 days in jail with 47 days credit.

• Ryan Wayne Knox, 26, of Luther, pleaded guilty to one count of attempted resisting/obstructing/assaulting an officer and one count of drunk-disorderly person. He is sentenced to 210 days in jail with six days credit for the first charge and 90 days in jail with six days credit for the drunk-disorderly person charge.

• Jonathan Michael Wood, 47, of Allegan, pleaded guilty to operating while intoxicated. He is sentenced to 30 days in jail with one day credit. He is given the option of 90 days electronic monitoring or 60 days monitoring plus completion of Impact weekend in lieu of jail. He will be on probation for two years. The vehicle used in the offense shall be immobilized or forfeited.

• Nicholas Aaron Blue, 29, of Big Rapids, pleaded guilty to no valid license in his possession. He is ordered to pay fines and court costs.

• David Martin Cassidy Jr., 29, of Grant, pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended license. He is ordered to pay fines and court costs.

• Taylor Marie Knight, 25, of Cadillac, pleaded guilty to operating without insurance. She is sentenced to time served.

• Thomas Ely Davis, 41, of Evart, pleaded guilty to attempted malicious destruction of property. He is sentenced to time served.

• Calvin James Ragan, 53, of Lawton, pleaded guilty to use of marijuana. He is ordered to pay fines and court costs.
