• The Reed City planning commission will meet at 7 p.m., May 3, at the Reed City city Hall. For information o how to attend the meeting remotely visit reedcity.org or call 231-832-2245.
• The Osceola Couty board of commissioners will meet at 9:30 a.m., May 4. For information on how to participate in the meeting remotely visit Osceola-county.org or call 231-832-3261.
• Reed City Food Pantry: Will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays in the garage behind St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 831 S. Chestnut St., Reed City. Contact: 231-215-6996. NOTE: The pantry will be closed June-August. Last day of service will be May 27. The pantry will reopen in early September. For emergency needs, call 231-215-6996.
• 1st Annual Reed City Little League Home Run Derby and Parade: Noon on Saturday, May 8. Lineup for the parade begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Osceola County courthouse, 410 W. Upton Ave., Reed City. Derby begins after the parade.
• The Reed City Depot will host the Cedar Creek Band from 6-9 p.m. the second and fourth Thursday of each month beginning May 13 through September.
• The 2021 Park season has opened in Evart. Camping will be limited to primitive camping only at Riverside East and no camping at Riverside West. Pavilions can be reserved by calling 231-734-2181.
• The City of Evart is implementing an Adopt-a-Tree program and will be planting approximately 250 trees throughout the City. The program is open to residents, free of charge. All trees will be planted near the street to help beautify the city. Call 231-734-2181 for more details.
• The Evart Farmers' Market begins in June. If you are interested in being a vendor, you can submit an application at evart.org. For more information contact Angela Hunter at 231-250-8768 evartfarmmarket@gmail.com.
• Evart City Offices are closed to the public until further notice. All city staff will remain available during regular office hours. • Osceola County Courts are open by appointment only until further notice.
